Scene Set! The summer of 2009 Inside Brooklyn’s biggest club, D’Jumbala. The club is packed as girls whine up in the corners and infront the stage as King Africa take to the stage to perform his first single ” Brooklyn WINE “.

The KING AFRIKA whose music is a mixture of Reggae and Hip Hop are the next big thing out of Brooklyn. The grew up in 90′s section of Brooklyn. With the inspiration of a fallen brother Phil, Guyanese native King Africa who came to New York at the age of 11 then started a music career in early 2009.

His single “Me & You” and “My Life” are just some of the many songs that will put him at the top of the music game. Influences include The Notorious B.I.G, Bob Marley, Vybz Kartel & Bounty Killer.

King Africa raw talent and ego talent on the mic came a long way he gave up a gang lifestyle to focus on his music career. King Africa also confesses he loves Africa because it is the motherland and stays busy with his entertainment group Black Money Makers who produce music and movies.

With the support from groups such Triple Threat, producer Vance of Vance Productions, Party Promoter Big O, DJ Starks, DJ Sir Manny, DJ O DJ Tek Vybz DJ Youngstone and teams such as Pure Playaz and Showtime Family. King Africa will continue to grind hard and make music with a mixtape on the way and videos and countless songs out.
