BOBSO ARCHITECT – MORNING LIGHT [RAW+RADIO] – BOBSO

Biography:

The city of Holland, Goes (Zeeland) is crowded with tourists moving trailers and tents every year, anticipating a sunny vacation in its own country. As a result of the sparkling mix of Dancehall, Reggae and Zouk of singer Bobso, it has been sunny even at night for the past ten years in Goes.
It took a long time for Bobso to arrive in Zeeland. However, at the end of last year he decided to create his own mixtape in order to share his music with the world. The release of his first mixtape is due at the beginning of this summer.

Life in Kinshasa, Congo has far-reaching consequences for a child. Especially, when you are recruited as a child soldier at a young age. It happens to Bobso, who is given the name Theggy Kyezu and is born on January 24 in 1989. Fortunately, the singer is able to escape from the situation and moves to the Netherlands at the age of 12. He ends up in Goes, where he discovers that he has a great talent: he has a feeling for rhythm and a very special voice.

The sound of the singer is very characteristic. Bobso is able to combine Dancehall, Reggae and Zouk. He sings in the English, Surinam and in the French language. He calls it ‘MultiLangiRaggi’: which is a contraction of the words ‘multi’, ‘language’ and ‘raggamuffin’. Bobso his out-of-this-world live performances are caused by the combination of his nice, warm voice and his endless energy. From these live performances his audience attains great energy and strength.

After Bobso moved to Goes, he started to develop his talent and his sound with his friends. In 2009 he realizes that his music is more than just a leisure activity. Additionally, it is a huge passion for Bobso. He approaches MadMusic and through his management he was able to get in contact with G-Thangz and D-Pep. At the end of 2009 Bobso came up with the idea to release his own mixtape.

In December 2009 the first single is released. The single is called ‘First Day Sex’and is a great preview of what to expect for his coming mixtape. As a result of his single the singer is booked for shows in one of the best clubs in Europe: Club Noxx. Immediately he did the pre-shows of Dancehall greatnesses as Rupee (Tempted to Touch) and Million Stylez (Miss Fatty).

The future is looking very bright for Bobso. His focus is currently on performing and releasing mixtapes.
